Practice Changes

To all Clients
I wanted to share an important (and exciting) update about my practice as we move towards spring/summer.
After 3 years of further training, I will be completing my qualification in Psychotherapeutic Counselling in May. I will also be completing my Couples Therapy Training in July.
This has been a huge commitment behind the scenes, and I'm really looking forward to bringing these deeper skills to the work that I offer.
From summer onwards, my practice will be expanding to focus on working with adults (18+) - both individual therapy and couples therapy. I will continue to offer solution focused hypnotherapy exactly as I do now, with some additional services becoming available as my qualifications are finalised.
These changes will allow me to tailor an even more personalised mix of therapeutic approaches to suit each client, depending on their needs, goals and preferences. As always, my work will remain warm, collaborative and solution-focused, just with a broader toolkit to support you.
One change this does mean, sadly, is that I will need to begin finishing up with my current child and teen clients by July. I want to reassure you that this will be a gradual and supported transition - we have around 18 weeks if continued sessions will be helpful during this time. I will also be happy to recommend trusted local therapists who specialise in working with young people to ensure ongoing support if needed.
My working hours will also be changing from July, and I will share a clear update on this nearer the time so everyone has plenty of notice.
To reflect my ongoing experience and qualifications there will be a very slight increase to my prices (I haven't put my prices up since I qualified 6 years ago). Again, I will discuss this with clients individually nearer the time.
I feel incredibly grateful to all of you who have trusted me with your journeys over the years. These changes are about growing the practice in a way that allows me to offer deeper, more tailored support while still keeping the same calm, compassionate space you know.
If you have any questions at all about how this may affect your sessions, please don't hesitate to reach out.
